The Hondata Heatshield is a thermal-insulating intake manifold gasket for the early D-series and ZC engines, the D16A1, D16A3, D16A8, and D16Z5 found in the 86-89 Acura Integra and a range of international Honda models. It sits between the cylinder head and the intake manifold and acts as a heat barrier, slowing the transfer of engine heat into the manifold and the incoming air charge.
