What to know before you buy

First, the honest tradeoff, and a full front poly refresh makes it real. On a car you want to feel connected to, the tighter front end is the point. On a comfort-first daily, just know the front firms up.

Second, one specific heads-up on the strut rod bushings, because a real owner hit this. The poly front strut rod bushings can shift your front caster, and at least one builder found they pushed caster out of spec on his car. If you are particular about alignment, get the car aligned after install and know that the strut rod bushings are the piece to look at if your caster reads off. Most people are fine, but it is worth knowing going in rather than being surprised at the alignment rack.

Third, plan the install realistically. This is a multi-position front-end job, so set aside a solid afternoon or two and have a press or press tool ready, the front control arm bushings require pressing the old shell and rubber out and pressing the poly in, you do not reuse the OE outer shell on those. Use the included grease generously on every bushing, especially the surfaces that pivot, since a dry poly bushing is what squeaks later.
