- The ACT HD Pressure Plate Performance Disc Clutch Kit (AR2-HDSS) is designed for the 2003-2012 Honda Accord, 2009-2014 Acura TSX, and 2012-2015 Honda Civic Si 2.4L. This kit features ACT's popular Heavy Duty pressure plate and street disc. The Heavy Duty pressure plate uses an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load by 24% over factory, reduce deflection, and maximize clutch life. Each diaphragm undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for exceptional performance. The precision cover stampings provide rigidity and consistency. The performance street disc features premium organic materials with high copper content for better heat transfer and steel-backed lining for greater burst strength and durability. The reduced marcel ensures faster shift action, complementing the ACT pressure plates for increased strength and reliability. The ACT HD Pressure Plate Clutch and Streetlite Flywheel are rated to 255 ft/lbs for a mild to aggressive street setup.
