The factory spoiler on your FL5 or 11th gen Civic hatch isn't bad - but it's plastic, it's heavy relative to what it's doing, and it's the same thing on every other Civic in the parking lot. The EVS Tuning carbon fiber trunk spoiler fixes that. It bolts directly to your factory mounting points, runs a taller and more aggressive profile than stock, and it's actual carbon fiber - not a vinyl wrap over ABS. If you're building out your FL5 or want to give your non-Type R hatch a more aggressive rear end, this is the cleanest way to do it.

Real Carbon Fiber - Not a Wrap

EVS constructs this spoiler from genuine carbon fiber with a UV-protective clear coat finish. The carbon weave is structural - it's not decorative vinyl laid over plastic. That means it's lighter than your factory plastic spoiler and it won't flex or distort under load. The weave stays visible under the clear coat, so it pairs cleanly with any other carbon pieces you're running on your build. If you've got a carbon hood, mirrors, or diffuser, this integrates without looking like an afterthought.

More Aggressive Stance Than Stock

The EVS spoiler sits taller and runs sharper angles than the factory unit on both the FL5 Type R and the base 11th gen hatchback. It's designed to complement the existing body lines of the FL5, but it fits the non-Type R hatchback too - which is worth knowing if you want Type R-level aggression without the Type R price tag. Just be aware: if you're on a non-Type R hatch, this spoiler will look noticeably more aggressive than what you're replacing. That's the point, but make sure it fits the direction of your build.

The mounting hardware uses your factory trunk spoiler mounting points. You pull the factory spoiler off, bolt this one on, and you're done. A Note on Carbon Care

Carbon fiber and UV exposure don't get along without protection. The clear coat on this spoiler is your defense against sun damage. Inspect it periodically - especially at the edges and mounting points - and touch up any chips or cracks before they let UV reach the carbon. Treat it like paint: a little maintenance now avoids a costly replacement later.
